You are darkness and moonlight and a sky full of stars. You're nocturnal, but not in a lonely way. You are the moment when an unbelievably good rock show goes into its third encore. Just when everyone starts to wonder if it's finally over, the band runs back on stage and starts another song. You are the time of night when everybody knows it's getting late, but nobody wants to go home. You are the smoke machines, still going strong, and the stage lights that make that smoke glow blue and red. You are the warm mass of people singing along in unison, the sweaty rockers, the guitar solo, and that split second when you could swear the lead singer looked in your direction.
RRRGLT was amazing. i met everyone and they were all so nice, and the cab gets MAJOR HUGE GINORMOUS respect points for going up and playing even after their car accident and everything. i am so proud of them. i also made some awesome friends while waiting in line, and i am now in someone's phone as "holly would you turn me on." win. ✌
i had to skip classes yesterday because my ankles were acting up really badly. i tried to get out of bed and they gave out from under me and it just hurt really badly. i spent all day on the phone with nurses and trying to get ahold of my doctor until about 5:30, and which point i decided that i wanted chinese food. and mmmm was this place good. i had to drive out to pick it up, and even though i got kind of lost, it was SO worth it. oh man, it was some of the best chinese food ever. ✫
today im going back to campus in about an hour and a half for rush week. i am still thinking about pledging to zeta tau alpha. i almost feel weird doing this, especially considering the "social group" i was in in high school... but life is about going on out a limb and trying new things, right? besides, i've hung out with the zetas before and they seem like pretty cool people. it's raining really badly, though. ☁☂
also, BoA's new album is so amazing! i don't know why i ever doubted in her. i was worried for a long time there about what she was doing or where her music would be going, because it seemed like she wasn't sure either. but she's totally proven that she still has the "BoA magic" that she has shown in all her other albums. and i'm AMAZED at how good and clear her english has gotten. ☺
